When COVID-19 hit Australia in early 2020, Craig launched a humanitarian response from sport to volunteer, and keep charities alive all across Australia called #PlayForLives
In collaboration with Be Collective, Craig developed a volunteer website to connect the vast numbers of participants, administrators and fans of sport to charities that needed assistance whether through volunteering, donations or digital support from high profile athletes
He also volunteered with good friends of his at Addison Road Community Centre, Marrickville, NSW where he encouraged a range of famous athlete, actor and other high profile Australians to help spread the message that Australia needed people everywhere to step up and help, or thousands of charities would have to close their doors

#PlayForLives spread abroad including to India as #PlayForIndia along with the Go Sports Foundation
At the end of 2020, Craig and his wife Lara, along with close friends partnered with Addi Road to pack and deliver 1,000 Christmas Gift Hampers to vulnerable communities across the State of NSW
